CHARLES (CHARLIE) BRAZIL, 82, of North Little Rock, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012. He was born in Little Rock to Allen Daniel and Lillie Belle (Doan) Brazil. One of seven children, he was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, A.D. Brazil of Baltimore, Md.; and O.D. Brazil of Little Rock. He is survived by his two children, Rebecca (Troy) Platt of North Little Rock and Richard (Tricia) Brazil of Cabot; their mother, Euritha Brazil; fiancée, Betty Everett; and her daughter Melissa Mansell; four sisters, Brenda (Mike) Pearce of Maumelle, Evelyn (Ed) Counts of Pantego, Texas, Lillian (Howard) Bratton of Point Blank, Texas and Patricia Dube of Bradington, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He served in the Korean War and went on to have a career in electronic sales. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, loved cooking and reading. Most recently his favorite pastime was sitting in the sun reading his Kindle. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge and current member of the Moose Lodge in Sherwood. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18th, 2012, 10 a.m., at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial be made to the American Diabetes Association.
