Virginia Lee Glover

Virginia Lee Glover, 87, of Cabot died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. She was born Sept. 26, 1925, in McRae to the late John Wood Murphy and Rella Stella Pickins Murphy. Mrs. Glover was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church and was retired from Lomanco, where she worked as a bookkeeper. She loved to fish and to travel to Branson. She also enjoyed her weekly outings with her sisters and brother. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Glover was preceded in death by her husband, W. T. Glover. Mrs. Glover is survived by her son, Larry Glover of Austin; her grandchildren, Michele Martin, Andrea Gunther, Jason Glover, Kayla Glover and Whitney Crook as well as eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Bob Murphy and her sisters, Betty Carrington and Johnnie Evans, all of Cabot. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
