Jimmy Lynn Johnston

Jimmy Lynn Johnston, 71, of Judsonia, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. He was born October 27, 1941 in Quitman a son of the late Clinton Alex "Tip" and Madelene Shirley Johnston. Mr. Johnston was a member of Local 798 and had worked as a pipeliner for nearly 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and was a devoted family man. He was a longtime member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford. He is survived by his daughter, Jami Johnston - Kimbrough; two brothers, John Kenneth Johnston and Ronnie Johnston; a sister, Sandra Smith; grandchildren, Jacob A. Theriault and Cassidy A. Kimbrough. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Lynn Johnston, Jr.; a brother, Morris Johnston; sister, Mary Bair. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Robinson officiating.
