Richard Manuel Melian

Richard Manuel Melian, age 25, of Benton passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012. He was born June 30, 1987 in Newark, New Jersey to Moises A. Melian and Ana Carolina Castro-Mejia. Before moving to Benton, he graduated from Matheny School and Hospital in Peapack, New Jersey in 2008. Richard was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Benton and was loved by many. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three siblings, Alexandra C. Mejia, Steven P. Mejia, and Maylin R. Mejia; his maternal grandmother, Blanca R. Fuentes, and his paternal grandparents, Manuel and Elsa Melian. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Northside Church of Christ with Bro. Fernando Toledo officiating. Interment will follow at Old Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Mejia, Kyle Castro, Benjamin Castro, Wildredo Aguilar, Henry Castro, Peter Elias, Moises Melian, Bro. Fernando Toledo, and Gerardo Vazquez.
