Colleen J. Clay-Tyson, 86, of Little Rock transitioned to her heavenly home December 15, 2012. Born January 25, 1926, to the late Isiah & Fortyne Clay she retired from the Little Rock School District, where she was an Elementary School Teacher for over 30 years. Frederick M. Tyson, her husband of nearly 65 years preceded her in death; a brother, Isiah Clay (Gary, Indiana) also preceded her in death. Left to cherish her precious memories are three daughters, Connie Gore, Fredlesha (Ray) Barnes and LaJuan Bedford; three grandchildren, Felise Barnes, Edmond Barnes Jr. and Vellori Barnes; God- grandson, Edward Aycock; six great grandchildren; three sister in-laws, Jewel Avery, Rubye Clay (Gary, Indiana) and Alice Tyson (Maywood, Ill.). A celebration of her wonderful life will be Saturday, December 22, 2012, 11 am, at Second Baptist Church, 1709 John Barrow Road, Little Rock, Ark.. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Alexander, Ark.. Family visitation: Friday, December 21, 2012, 7:30-8:30 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St.. LR.
