Estella Anderson

Estella Anderson was born January 23, 1915. A daughter of the late Calvin Coolidge Jackson and the late Corine Young Lee. Mother Anderson accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ, where she served as an usher, missionary, Sunday school teacher, and as a Mother of the church dutifully until illness prevented her attendance. Mother Anderson retired from the Stuttgart Memorial Hospital after 25 years. On Sunday, December 16, 2012 God in His infinite wisdom called Mother Anderson from labor to reward. She was united in marriage to the late Mr. John T. Anderson 1947. To this union, four children were born. Mother Anderson was preceded in death by siblings- Mildred White, Mattie Lockett, Janie Conley, Roxie Tillman; and one brother, John Tillman. She leaves to cherish her memory eight daughters, Margaret Sanders of Aurora, Colorado, Laura McNeal of Chicago, Illinois, Lorene Frye of San Francisco, California, Gladys (Elijah) Noel of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Janice (Larry) Gilreath of Little Rock, Arkansas, Carolyn (George) Williams also of Little Rock, Arkansas, Debra (Donald Ray) Perryman of Kansas City, Kansas, Brenda Anderson of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sons, Charles Frye and Bennie Frye both of Stuttgart, Arkansas, and Robert Frye of Hartford, Connecticut; sister, Louise Goodwin of Chicago Illinois; thirty-nine grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ in Stuttgart, Arkansas with the Elder Leato Walker officiating. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery by the P.K. Miller Mortuary of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Mt.
