Kathleen Moody

Kathleen Moody, age 81 of Bradford died Sunday, December 23, 2012 in Searcy. She was born September 19, 1931 in Newport, Arkansas to Ivy Burleson and Eliza Mitchum Burleson. She was a homemaker and a member of Possum Grape Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Pearce and husband Randy of Batesville; one grandson, Andrew Pearce of Batesville; two sisters, Donnie Mathis of Judsonia, Agnes Smith of Bradford; and one brother, Billy Burleson of Possum Grape. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivy and Eliza Burleson; husband, David Lee Moody; two sisters, Grace Monday, Violet Kennedy; one brother, Buster Burleson; and one infant granddaughter, Sara Pearce. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Funeral services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at Possum Grape Church of Christ.
