Ralph G. McBryde

Dr. Ralph G. McBryde, age 94, of Cave City died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at his home. He was born April 2, 1918 at Star City, Ark. to Robbie and Minnie Owen McBryde. He was a retired chiropractor, having practiced in Pine Bluff. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII having served in the European theater. During his military service he was in the Medical Corp, was a courier between East and West Berlin and played trumpet in the Army Band. He was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Evening Shade. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Marzelle Hartsell McBryde of the home; one son, Dr. Bill McBryde of Jonesboro; one daughter, Leah McBryde of Cave City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Jeff Asher officiating. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Clint McBryde, Kurt McBryde, Clay McBryde, Shawn Walsh, Brandon Walsh and Brad McBryde. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Andy Davidson, Dr. Michael Courtney, Dr. Michael Wilson, Dr. Hunter Brown, Dr. Rick Brown and Rich Kidwell.
