Solomae Evans

SOLOMAE EVANS, 94, of Little Rock passed away December 22nd, 2012. She was born October 6th, 1918 in North Little Rock to Andrew and Catherine Chudy. Mrs. Evans was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Little Rock, was an avid reader, and wonderful cook. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; and will be missed by many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Daves. Cherishing her memory are her son, Larry Evans of Searcy; sister, Stella Cothran of North Little Rock; two granddaughters, Robin Huggins of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Angie Jordan of Searcy, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren Drew Huggins, Grace Huggins, Will Jordan, and John Jordan. She was a very special aunt to her nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 29th, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Fr. Frank V. DuPreez as celebrant. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Woodland Hills Nursing Home for their love, care, and compassion.
