Johnny Greene Boyd

Services for JOHNNY GREENE BOYD, age 94, of Little Rock, Ark. will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at Matinburg Cemetery in Pittsburg, Texas. He was born Feb. 13, 1918 in Pittsburg, Texas to Samuel Pierce Boyd and Thelma Lois Cleveland Boyd. He was a retired electrical engineer for SWEPCO. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Parkway Health Center and Baptist Hospice for the care given to daddy. Survivors include two daughters, Linda White, Little Rock Ark., Judy Pratt, Mifflinburg, Pa.; six grandchildren, Marc White, Karen Duke, Tim White, Blaine Pratt, Vaughn Conklin, Courtney Sakhvoruk. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Marcelle Boyd. Pallbearers are Marc White, Tim White, David Duke, Blaine Pratt, Jed Conklin, Leo Sakhvoruk. Visitation with the family will be 11 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
