Juanita Tacker Brunner

Juanita Tacker Brunner was born March 8, 1929. She passed away Dec. 18, 2012 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a wonderful mother, excellent NeNaw, exceptional homemaker, and loving wife. Juanita was a member of First United Methodist Church of Marked Tree, Arkansas. She was an active band parent for many years, a Girl Scout leader, and worked with special needs children of Poinsett County. Her favorite past times included playing bridge, fishing, cooking, and camping out with her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, James Robert Brunner Sr.; her parents, Joe and Lila Tacker; three sisters, Louise Wages, Margaret O'Brien and Billie Joe Castleman and one brother, Cletus Tacker. She leaves behind three children, a son, Rob Brunner Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Dianna Campbell (Dr. Jim Campbell) of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Pam Teague (Dr. Audie Teague) of Camden, Ark.; five grandchildren, Cody Campbell and Baine Campbell of Elizabethtown, Ky., Jason Brunner of Fayetteville, Ark., Dr. Kristen Teague Thompson (AST Dustin Thompson) of Pine Bluff, Ark., and AST Craig Teague of Jonesboro, Ark.; and 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital of Memphis, Tenn. or First Methodist Church of Marked Tree, Ark. There will be a private celebration of life held for Mrs. Brunner. Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services were responsible for making the arrangements.
