Lillian Marie Cates Weaver

LILLIAN MARIE CATES WEAVER, 95, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012. She was born Nov. 2, 1917 to the late William Thomas and Josephine Archer Cates. She is survived by her seven daughters, Mollie Mercer of Little Rock, Jo Ann Burleson (Joe Allen) of Dodge City, Kan., Linda Knight of Little Rock, Donna Roberts of Jacksonville, Barbara Crowley, Rebecca Ritchie, and Terrie Weaver, all of North Little Rock; two sisters, Lucille House, of North Little Rock, and Syble Caple, of Benton; one brother, Aubrey Cates, of North Little Rock; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and her favorite companion, her cat Betsy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Colby Eldro Weaver, and two sons, William Weaver and Danny Weaver. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Brownsville Cemetery in Lonoke.
