Alice Brehm Riggle

Alice Brehm Riggle, 85, of Jacksonville died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011. She was born Jan. 18, 1926 in Memphis, Tenn., to the late Samuel and Louise Dillingham Brehm. Mrs. Riggle was a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and a member of Sigma Psi sorority. She was a member of the Jacksonville United Methodist Church, a longtime supporter and volunteer for the Pet Angels organization and an American Red Cross volunteer at Little Rock Air Force Base for many years. Mrs. Riggle was a wonderful wife and mother. Mrs. Riggle is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lt Col Lewis Riggle (USAF Retired), two children, Anne Northup of Loveland, Ohio and Michael Riggle of Midway, Ga.; two grandchildren, William Fisher and Alice Sowers, both of Cincinnati, Ohio and one great grandson, William Sowers. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Mark McDonald officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Pines Mausoleum on the grounds of Chapel Hill Memorial Park under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
