Clarice Miller Scott

Clarice (Miller) Scott, 77, of Little Rock, Ark. died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at St. Vincent Arkansas Hospice. She was born Jan. 29, 1934, in Little Rock, a daughter of the late Joseph Paul and Marie (Nutt) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Ed Scott, who died in 1979; a brother, Joseph Edward Miller. Mrs. Scott's family called her "Buddy." She was a graduate of Mount St. Mary's in Little Rock. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, where she was active with Martha's Meals for bereaved families, and also worked in her Garden Angel flower garden. She was a former member of Catholic Business Women; and was a book keeper for Democrat Printing for 40 years. Survivors are her sisters, Mary Carolyn Borengasser of Fort Smith, Ark.; Dottie Sweetman and Emily Booth both of Little Rock; Rita Eslick of Hot Springs and a number of nephews and nieces. Rosary will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Christ The King Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church, with Msgr. Francis I. Malone, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. 501-661-9111.
