Jimmy C. White

Jimmy C. White, age 70, of the Prairie Grove community, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 at his home. He was born Dec. 28, 1941 in Drew County to the late Edgar White and Ruby Clantan White. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ima Lee Lloyd White; one brother, Harold White; and two sisters, Ann and Marie. Mr. White was retired from Georgia Pacific and a member of the Prairie Grove Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and dearly loved his family and friends. Survivors include three sons, Greg White of Prairie Grove, Kenny White and wife, Christy of Warren and Terry White and wife, Theresa of Prairie Grove; one daughter, Pam Blount and husband, Keith of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 19 grandchildren, Scott, Keith, Craig, Sara, Kristen, Alex, Delani, Kyle, Crystal, Ashley, Samantha, Tabitha, Heather, Amanda, Lindsey, Kade, Tiffany, Savannah and Bryan; and three great grandchildren, Arianna, Gracie and Aiden. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Prairie Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Carpenter and Rev. Willie Thornhill officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
