Phillip Leslie Plunkett passed away January 3, 2012. He was the son of the late Orville L. Sr. and Lois Lane Plunkett. Born in Little Rock, on May 16, 1951, he was a graduate of Joe T. Robinson High School and a member of Markham (Faith) Methodist Church. He was a lifetime construction worker. You could always hear him cheering the Razorbacks and pulling for the horses at Oaklawn Park. He is survived by two daughters, Yolanda Cole and Stephanie Battiest, both of Bigelow, Ark.; one grandson and three granddaughters; three brothers, Orville L. Jr. (Margaret), R.L. "Dick" (Janet), and Larry L. (Beth) Plunkett all of Little Rock; two sisters, Donna L. (Bill) Johnson of Little Rock, and Jenna L. (Larry) Hacker of Bryant, Ark., many nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nephews and great-great nieces. We love you and will always miss you so much, Phillip, out father, grandfather, uncle and baby brother. There will be a memorial service at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 West Markham, on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 320 Executive Court, Little Rock, Ark.
