Francis Clark Thorne

Francis Clark Thorne, 82, of North Little Rock, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012. He was born Saturday, December 28, 1929 in Guy, Arkansas to the late William M and Cora Thorne. Mr. Thorne was a retired police officer with the North Little Rock Police Department and after retirement served as a bailiff for Judge Floyd Lofton in Little Rock. He was of the Baptist faith and a 32nd degree Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Connie Mack Thorne and Baley H. Thorne. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Billie Jean Willis Thorne and a daughter, Joyce Ann Thorne both of North Little Rock. He also leaves a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2012 in the Roller-Owens Funeral Home, (501) 791-7400. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with Chris Wimberly officiating.
