Wilbern Morris Jones

Wilbern Morris Jones, 82, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2012. He was born February 21, 1929 in Ada, Oklahoma, a son of the late Delwin A. and Juanita Morris Jones. He was a retired Painting Contractor and a member of Henderson United Methodist Church of Little Rock, Veterans of Foreign War, and American Legion. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Darrell Jones and his wife Jeannie of Charlottesville, Virginia; daughter, Alice Withers and her husband Bill of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren: Chad Withers and his wife Jennifer of Benton, Arkansas, Katelin Jones of Santa Cruz, California, and Reyn Jones of Prescott, Arizona; great-grandchildren Leighton and Carson Withers of Benton, Arkansas; and one brother, Gene Jones of Alexander, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
