Johnny B. Tew, Sr.

Johnny B. Tew, Sr., age 65 died January 10th, 2012. He was born October 7th, 1946 to Tuffy and Alpha Ramsey Tew. Johnny was a very devoted and loving husband, father, papa, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially coaching basketball. He was a retired freight company manager. Johnny was a charter and founding member of Morgan Full Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by his father; two sisters, Joan and Brenda; and one brother, Terry. Cherishing his memory are his wife of 24 years, Terry; mother, Alpha Caudle; two brothers, Dick Tew, and Danny Ramsey; one son, Johnny Tew, Jr.; five daughters, Lisa Brinkley (Doug), Brenda McLain (Cecil), Jamie Klinger, Kelli Lowrey (Brent), Tammy Dillon (Steve); 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and a large church family. A celebration of Johnny's life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday January 13th, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock(501)835-3515.
