Marvin L. Shireman

Marvin L. Shireman, 55, of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012. He was born Sept. 18, 1956 in Burbank, Calif. to the late Jessie and Ruby Shireman. Marvin was a veteran who worked in the construction industry, and worked for and owned several auto dealerships, which he truly loved doing. Marvin's love of cars was surpassed only by his love of the outdoors and fishing. Many happy times were spent with a fishing pole and a pair of waders. He is survived by his brother Bobby Shireman and wife, Patrice, from Pangburn; daughters Alicia and Stacy Shireman and Samantha Smith, all of Little Rock; and two grandchildren, Aaliyah Slater and Haley York of Little Rock. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Rose and Peggy Hunt. One very special person in his life was Joanne Mitchell, with whom he shares many memories. He will be missed by family and the many friends he had made throughout the years. Arrangements by Arkansas Funeral Care, Jacksonville.
