William James Jones

William James Jones, 69, of Little Rock, Ark. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. He was born Dec. 5, 1942 in Shelby, Miss., to the late Gilbert Jones and Josephine Jenkins Jones. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a plant engineering supervisor for 3M Industrial Mineral Product Division. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Taeko Jones; son, Gilbert Jones; two sisters, Seretha Sims, May Moore and brother, Wyley Cook. He is survived by daughters, Gwendolyn Jones and Kellye Jones of Little Rock; grandchildren, James Fairchild Jr., Tyler Jones; brothers, Lee Van Jones of Kansas City, Mo.; Wittie Jones of Albany, N.Y.; and sister, Cal Bailey of Detroit, Mich. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 in Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209, 501-455-5800.
