Barbara Jean Knight Dinwiddie

Barbara Jean Knight Dinwiddie, born Aug. 2, 1929, to Floyd Allen Knight and Tennie Lindsey Knight, passed into the loving arms of her Savior on Jan. 14, 2012 in Cabot, Ark. She lived her entire life in the Little Rock/North Little Rock Metropolitan area and has many life-long friends who survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leland Dinwiddie (C.L.), who passed away in 1978; by her parents, Tennie and Floyd Knight, who both passed away in 1980; and by her brother, Floyd John Knight, who passed away in 2011. She is survived by her two daughters, Rhonda Kelley (Ron) of Cabot, and Fonda Ketcham (Larry) of Austin, Texas. She was a much-loved Mimi to Rhonda's two children, Matthew Smith of Van Buren and Melanee Henry of Cabot; and to Fonda's two children, Andrew Ketcham and Lauren Ketcham Hug of Austin, Texas; and to her four great-grandchildren, Timothy and Savannah Henry, and Xander and Ella Grace Hug. She attended Baring Cross Baptist Church for over 40 years and was active in the XYZ Club, as well as many of the ministries of the church. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400).
