Kenneth Wade Massey

Kenneth "Bimbo" Wade Massey, 58, of McGehee passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at his residence in McGehee Ar. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a long time residence of McGehee. He was a graduate of McGehee High School in 1972, also loved hunting and fishing and was an avid deer hunter. Kenneth was born to the late Erwin Nelson Massey and Emma Mew on January 4, 1954 in Dermott, Ark. He is also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Massey of McGehee, son, Trent Birchfield of McGehee, daughter, Regina Birchfield of Monticello, two brothers: Jim Massey and wife Eileen of Shoreline, Wash., and Stanley Massey of Lawson, Ark., a sister, Kay Erwin and Bryce of Florence, Ark., two granddaughters: Carmen Birchfield "CC" and Destiny Birchfield. Funeral Service will be held 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2012 at First Baptist Church in McGehee with Rev. Ed Balducci officiating. Burial will follow in Tillar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2011 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service. Active pallbearers are: Trent Birchfield, Matt Burdan, Jason Summitt, Caleb Fowler, Logan Allen A.J. Hood. Honorary pallbearers: Ronnie Cingolani, Les Abernathy, Wayne Lawson, Thomas Hardin, Craig Eastham, Steve French, Carol Wayne Sirmon, Gary Stevens, Allen Stevens, Ronnie New, Paul Tyrone, Randy McCracken, Clay Hardin, Donnie Morphis, Hoppy Mew, Jimmy Massey , Stan Massey, Kyle Massey, Aaron Bowker, Robert Hardin, Jay Hardin, Jerald Birchfield, Robert E. Birchfield and Tim Haley. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Hospice Angels, 3801 Camden Rd.
