H. Norman Ford, 90, of Little Rock, formerly of New Orleans and New Iberia, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012. He was born March 12, 1921 in Good Pine, Louisiana. Norman served in the Pacific during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from Southwestern University in Lafayette, Louisiana, with a degree in electrical engineering. Norman worked in management at Entergy in the Engineering Department for 37 years and retired as Assistant to the Vice President. He was active on many civic boards including the Girl Scouts of America and was a former president of the New Orleans Rotary Club. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Penny Ford; his children, daughter, Norma Jean Watson of New Orleans, two sons, Craig and wife Sidna Ford of Little Rock, and Brian Ford of Benton; two grandchildren Chris and wife Maggie Ford and Brittany Ford. Norman's interests were aviation, golfing, square dancing, painting, photography, travel and participated in many church activities. Services will be held 9:30 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300.
