Melissa Kim Ellington Dilday

Melissa Kim Ellington Dilday departed her earthly existence on Friday, January 13, 2012 in Conway. Born in Reno, Nevada on June 25, 1956 and raised in Little Rock, she leaves behind her husband of 32 years, Laurence [Larry], her two brothers, Kenneth Ellington of Sugarland, Texas and Morris Nard of Penrose, Colorado, and her sister, Nina [Susie] Schlereth of Little Rock. Melissa was a gifted artist and teacher. A 1979 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, she received her Master of Arts degree in Dramatic Art from the University of California at Davis. Prior to becoming disabled in 2004, Melissa taught theatre and speech at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012, Greene Chapel, Hendrix College, Conway. Services by Rosewood Cremation of Morrilton.
