Ronald Gene Vann, 72, of Cabot died January 18, 2012. He was a lifelong member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, an avid outdoorsman and a retired truck driver for ABF for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mickie; two daughters, Ronya (Tim) Hammonds, of Ward and Robin (David) Chamblee, of Cabot; his twin brother, Donnie (Helen) Vann, of Cabot; two sisters, Mary Jo Morrow, of Little Rock, and Fay (Jimmy) Driskill, of Cabot; brother, Ray (Madge) Vann, of Furlow; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a dear friend and caretaker, Peggy McKee and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the church.
