Helen N. Williams

Helen N. Williams, 92 of Marion, Arkansas, the widow of Charles L Williams, died January 18, 2012. Mrs. Williams was born in New Albany, Mississippi on February 7, 1919 to Ross and Salena Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, her son, Ross Scott Williams, her sister and brother-in-law,Edna and Ted Cotner, and her brother and sister-in-law, Ross and Martha Neal. Mrs. Williams was the consummate wife, mother, and homemaker with her home and family the center of her life. She was a member of the Marion United Methodist Church where she was active in the Women's Society and served as a Sunday School teacher. She was involved in Bible Study Fellowship for many years, and until the last month of her life, faithfully read five chapters of the Bible daily. Helen and Charles were world travelers, often traveling with friends Bill and Elaine Looney. They were avid Razorback fans and traveled to many games over the years. Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Levin and his wife Mary, and a daughter-in-law, Irene. Her surviving grandchildren are, Anabeth W. Bartholomew, Ross S. Williams Jr., Charles L. Williams III, Helen W. Masters, Neal S. Williams, and Zachary J. Williams. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be at the Marion United Methodist Church on Saturday, January, 21st at 10 a.m., with a burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Visitation will be prior to the service at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to the Marion United Methodist Church, P.O.
