BEVERLY ANN CANTRELL KENNEDY, 73, of Hot Springs, Ark. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012. She was born in Cornerstone, Ark. on Jan. 12, 1939 to John Addison and Frances Allison Cantrell. Beverly was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hot Springs, former member of First United Methodist Church of England where she was a member of FMC Ladies Circle and a Sunday School teacher. She was also a former president of England Heritage Club, and a Cub Scout and Brownie Leader. She was preceded in death by her father, John Addison Cantrell; two brothers, John Addison "Sonny" Cantrell and Anthony "Tony" Cantrell. She is survived by her husband, William S. "Bill" Kennedy; her mother, Frances Oyler of North Little Rock, Ark.; one son, W. Selby Kennedy and wife, Beckie of Little Rock, Ark. and one daughter, Allison Kennedy Halter and husband Chuck of Springfield, Mo.; six grandchildren, Thomas Halter, JaneAnne Halter, Helen Halter, Kaytlyn Kennedy, Hannah Kennedy and William Kennedy; and one sister, Joy Bresee and husband Jim of Fordland, Mo. Funeral services are being handled by Roller England Funeral Home (501)-842-3939. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at First United Methodist Church of England, Ark. with Bro. W.O. "Bud" Reeves officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery.
