Rev. Audley Wayne Givens

Rev. Audley Wayne Givens, age 90, of Fordyce, Ark. died Monday January 23, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born November 9, 1921 in Bradley County, Ark.; a son of the late Jonah Audley Givens and Mary Rozetta Kirkley Givens he was a retired Southern Baptist minister with 70 plus years service and a retired bread delivery man. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fordyce, a Mason, member of Paron Lodge #309 and the widow of Winnie Claire Smith Givens who died August 22, 2000. They were united in marriage July 24, 1943. Also, preceding him in death was a brother, John Warner Givens and a sister, Mildred Huitt. Survivors are two sons, Thomas Wayne Givens and David Audley Givens both of Arkadelphia, Ark.; two daughters Winnie Darlene McAdams, Minden, La., and Mary Elizabeth Givens, Fordyce, Ark., one brother, Max Edward Givens, Arkadelphia, Ark., two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services 10 a.m., Thursday January 26, at Frazer's Funeral Home in Warren, Ark. Burial Gravelridge Cemetery near Hermitage, Ark.
