Sue Ann Coulter Worley

Sue Ann Coulter Worley, 83, of Rock Hill, S.C., died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Westminster Health and Rehab Long Term Care. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Pineville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tom Stinson-Wesley officiating. A rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. the same evening at St. Anne Catholic Church. She was born in El Dorado, Ark., Oct. 24, 1928, to the late Fan and Charles Coulter. Sue married Robert W. Worley of El Dorado on June 17, 1948. Sue graduated from El Dorado High School in 1946 and attended Hendrix College. She was a loving wife and mother, and a homemaker. In 1975, she joined her husband Bob in his accounting firm. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in El Dorado until 2003 when she and Bob moved to Fort Mill and became members of Pineville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Milous, Ervin and Robert Coulter; and a sister, Ida Coulter Lawson. Survivors include one son, Robert W. Worley Jr. and wife, Jane Buchholz Worley, of Rock Hill; six grandchildren, Rebecca Jane Whisonant of Chester and Roslyn Ann Raley of Athens, Ga., Erin Louise Helmueller of Simpsonville, Katherine Elizabeth Owens of Columbia, Robert W. Worley III of Newport Beach, Calif., and Karen Worley of Rock Hill; and 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial service and burial will be held in El Dorado at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, S.C. 29731. Greene Funeral Home is serving the Worley family.
