Syble Pearson Story, 84, of Georgetown passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Syble's family will gather for a service to celebrate her life on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown. Syble was born May 20, 1927 in Dalark, Arkansas to the late Jessie C. and Malissa Shinkle Pearson. She is also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Pamela June Story; her son, Danny Keith Story; her brother, Jesse B. "J.B." Pearson; her half-sister, Peggy Francis; her half-brother, James Pearson; and the father of her children, Guy H. Story. Syble was raised in Dalark and moved to Little Rock after graduating high school. She worked for many years for AT&T in Little Rock and retired in 1988. Syble enjoyed reading, cooking, and loved tending to her flower garden. Her family will carry fond memories with them of her roses and iris' that she grew in her yard. Syble's grandchildren have their special memories of things she would cook for them. Syble moved to Georgetown in 2002 to The Wesleyan Estrella Retirement Home and then to the The Wesleyan Nursing Home in 2009. She was very happy with the staff and care she received and her last years were joyful. Syble leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her loving daughters, Peggy Story Taylor and her husband Timothy and Lisa Story, both of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Martyn Humphrey, Kristen Kluberg, Lauren Kluberg, Dean Taylor, Rachel Taylor, Ashley Ray, Carl Daniel Ray, Brigham Ray, Matthew Ray, Brooke Story DeLodder, and Paige Story Albert and her husband Eric Albert; her great-grandchildren, Cameron Humphrey, Payton Humphrey, Chase DeLodder, Peytan Albert, Eric Albert Jr., and Hailey Albert; and her sister-in-law, Grace Pearson and nephew Ken Pearson and family, along with long time friends.
