Elizabeth Janes Kinabrew

Mrs. Elizabeth Janes Kinabrew, 96, of Wilmot, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi. Mrs. Kinabrew was a native of Rayville, Louisiana and a resident of Wilmot for over 80 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Bastrop, Louisiana. She was a very caring person and loved sending cards to her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and a very faith filled person. She is preceded in death by her husband, James David Kinabrew in 1987; a son, Tony Perot in 1995; her parents, Frank & Brigita Knafel Janes; two brothers, I.A. "Buddy" Janes and Frankie Janes Sr. and two sisters, Acele Livingston and Dorothy "Dot" Janes Hampton. She is survived by three daughters, Brigita Diane McGuiness of Melbourne, Florida; Linda Harvey of Wilmot and Wanda Horton of Hensley; a sister, Dr. Catherine Janes of Lafayette, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral mass will be 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Father Theophilus Okpara as celebrant. Burial will be in the Wilmot Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steven Harvey, Ricky Harvey, Randy Harvey David McGuiness, Bob Young and Josh Barley. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Chandler, Joey Stovall, Allen Chandler and Bobby Biggers. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 320 Executive Ct., Ste 104, Little Rock, Ark. 72205 or the Arkansas Disability Coalition, 1501 North University Ave, Suite 268, Little Rock, Ark. 72207 or to a favorite charity.
