William Brian Hampton

William Brian Hampton, age 50, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his home. He was born May 30, 1961 in Ft. Smith to William Burke and Demo Lee (Stephenson) Hampton. He graduated Benton High School in 1979 and was a 1984 graduate of UCA where he was member of Sigma Tau Gama Fraternity. He attended Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Benton, was a member of the First Christian Church of Benton, and also attended the First Nazerene Church of Benton. Mr. Hampton was previously employed at Benton State Bank. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hampton is survived by his brother, Mark Hampton, of Bryant; his nieces and nephews, Lauren Elizabeth Hampton, Courtney Faith Hampton, and John Barlow Hampton; his aunts and uncles, Dorothy Chadwick, Wordna and husband Lance Freeman, Donald McDaniel and wife, Mae, Reena Stephenson, and Ben Hampton and wife, Charlie, and a host of cousins and other relatives.
