Samuel E. Gunter

Samuel E. Gunter, 73, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Sam was born in Vilonia, Ark. to the late Jeff and Lila Bass Gunter. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, J.D. Gunter. He was of Baptist faith. Sam was in the Air Force and served proudly in Vietnam. Sam retired as a photo finisher. Sam was a loving and caring brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by two brothers, Thomas "Pat" and wife, Jean and Elmer Gunter and wife, Dixie; and a sister-in-law, Jannette Gunter all of Sherwood; his special Border Collie Pet "Bailey;" a very dear cousin, Karen Stevenson. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 27, at the funeral home. Graveside will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Henderson Cemetery, Pangburn, Ark.
