Wallace E. Luyet, 85, passed away January 25th, 2012. He was born in Little Rock, and born of Swiss Immigrants. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Magdalena Loetscher Luyet, five brothers, and five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Murleen Hodges Luyet, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was retired maintenance supervisor for Entergy Corp. He was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII, serving in the Asiatic Pacific and European Theaters. He enjoyed wood working and playing the organ. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 28th, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515, with Fr. Frank Dupreez officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., this evening at the funeral home.
