Larry Dennis Meeks

Larry Dennis Meeks, 63, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away on April 28, 2012 with his family by his side. Larry was born on September 5, 1948 to Dennis and Hazel Meeks in Carnegie, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Meeks. Larry enjoyed time working in automotive paint and body work. Larry is survived by his mother, Hazel Meeks Kimble; three children, Larry Meeks, Kristy Davis and Tina Merlo; six grandchildren; and one sister, Margie Hamlin. The family would like to thank St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville, and the staff of the Veterans Administration Hospital in Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300.
