Mary Anna Sweatt

Mary Anna Sweatt, 78, of Alexander passed away on Monday, April 30th, 2012. She was born in Newark Arkansas to the late Alton and Hazel Pearl Tilley on May 6th, 1933. A member of Baptist faith, Mary spent her life making a home for her family. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and cooking. She loved watching her great grandkids play sports. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Ferman E. "Babe" Sweatt and two sons Tony and Jerry Sweatt. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Katherine Dunn and Cindy (Wade) Green; her brothers Ben, John and Bobby Tilley; her grandchildren Jennifer Burnett, Will Green, Tony Sweatt, Blake Sweatt and Jerry Sweatt; her great grandkids Tanner and Jackson and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 4th, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
