Nola E. Titsworth, 76 of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Little Rock. She was born April 14, 1936 in Bedford, IA to the late Knowles and Ina Nally. She received an Associate's Degree from Westark Community College, BS in Elementary Education from the University of the Ozarks and MA in Elementary Administration from the University of Arkansas. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Having three wonderful children and five grandchildren of her own and touching the lives of countless others while teaching. She was the 2002 Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market Teacher of the Year. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Noel Nally and grandson Justin Harber. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5th at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Viewing will be 12 noon to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Ft. Smith. She is survived by her daughter; Teresa Carpenter of Little Rock, two sons; Kenneth Titsworth of Charlotte, N.C. and Keith Whitworth of Cleburn, Texas, her brother; Clarke Nally of Greenwood and four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
