Jeff "Dickie" Robert Finley, Jr.

Jeff "Dickie" Robert Finley, Jr.,72 of De Valls Bluff, formerly of DeWitt, passed away peacefully in his home on May 2, 2012. He was born on June 11, 1939 in DeWitt to the late Jeff "Robbie" and Bertha "Polly" Finley. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death bv his sister, Alice Campbell of Florida and brother, Larry Finley of Arkansas. He is survived by Irene, his devoted wife of 25 years; three children, Kevin (Patricia) Finley of Cabot, Shan (Craig) Ward of Hazen and Darren (Stacie) Finley of Malvern; sister, Vena Brady of Washington; special uncle, Tommy Aycock of Lodges Corner, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Jeff served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a rifle instructor. He worked as a farm laborer and sewing machine mechanic, but his main enjoyment in life came from hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Westbrook Funeral home chapel in Hazen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
