Tommy L. McDaniel

Tommy L. McDaniel, 75, of Cabot died Friday, May 4, 2012. Tommy was born July 29, 1936 in Griffithville, Arkansas to the late Lynn and Vesta LaFerney McDaniel. A Christian, he was known by many people and throughout his career was one of Arkansas' most tenured real estate appraisers. In addition to his parents and beloved step-father, "Daddy Bob" Thurman, Tommy was preceded in death by his son, Tommy L. McDaniel, Jr. and four sisters. He is survived by his three children, Michelle and her husband, Dr. Ray Pearson of Harrison, Jason L. McDaniel of Cabot and Adam J. McDaniel; six grandchildren, Christopher and Ryan Brynell, Renee Estes, Dr. Rebecca Pearson, Samantha Weldon and Zachary McDaniel; two sisters, Hilton Dugger of Beebe and Laverne Chitwood of Maumelle; and two brothers, Johnny McDaniel of Tennessee and Dr. Jim Thurman of Kentucky. Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2012 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, May 7, at the funeral home.
