Gerald "Jerry" Landreth, 80, of Traskwood, passed away May 3, 2012. He was born April 18, 1932 in Traskwood, to the late Arlin and Ruth Summerville Landreth. He was a member of Forest Towers Baptist Church, Justice of the Peace for 12 years and Board Member on the Southwest Water Board for many years. Jerry retired from Reynolds Metals Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Albert, Dewayne and George "Buddy" Landreth; sister, Shirley Shelton, nephew, Chris Hulsey and daughter in law, Becky Landreth. Survivors, wife, Elizabeth Landreth, Traskwood; sons, Bill Landreth of Newport, Ark., Kenneth Landreth and wife, Natalie of Poyen, Thomas Landreth and wife, Vickie, Malvern, Terry Landreth and wife, Darlene, San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Jerri Lowe and husband, Bill, Jacksonville, Crystal Reeves and husband, Terry of Little Rock; brothers, Robert Landreth, Benton, Kenneth Landreth, Traskwood, Jack Landreth, Haskell, Roy Landreth, Glen Rose; sisters, Mary Sue Hulsey, Irving, Texas, Myrtie Jo McCutcheon, Lawton, Okla., Sarah Curry, Van Alstyne, Texas, Elizabeth Pearson, Glen Rose; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; best friend, E.C. Bailey of Tull and his beloved pets, Jake, Angel, Pumba, Pepper, Black Mouth and Baby Girl. Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 with Bro. Ricky Tipton and Bro.
