Sophia Brents

Sophia Brents, age 92, widow of Ira Brents, died April 28, 2012, at Cameron Park, Calif. She was a member of Sherwood Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a lifetime member of the Central Arkansas Gem, Mineral, & Geology Society. Survivors: son and wife, Phillip and Linda Brents of Cameron Park, Calif.; daughter, Carolyn Sue Brents of Las Vegas; sister Irene Goebel of Nebraska; her brother's wife, Kay Miller of Las Vegas, Nev. (Cyrus passed away in 2011); seven grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. A small graveside service will be held for the family and close friends at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Collegeville, Ark. on May the 11 at 5 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend. A memorial service will be held at the Sherwood Cumberland Presbyterian Church on May the 12 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sophia to Sherwood CP Church, 1402 E.
