ELSIE NEATHERY POUZAR, age 98, of Little Rock died, Saturday, May 5, 2012. She was born Sept. 22, 1913 to the late Joel C. Neathery and Lela Boyette Neathery. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil J. Pouzar; two sons, Joe Emil Pouzar and Patrick James Pouzar; three brothers, Harold, Everette and Winston Neathery, and a sister, Martha Hager Carnation. Elsie is survived by her daughter, Jane Terrell and husband, Al of Murfreesboro, Ark.; grandchildren, Drs. Joe Pouzar and wife, Linda, Paige Carr and husband, Greer, Laurie Stephens and husband, Walter, Emily Jenkins and husband, Chris, John Terrell and wife, Christy, Chris Terrell and wife, Karen and Jamie Terrell and wife, Anne. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and a special friend and angel, Arlene Brunson. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Al Terrell. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
