Leroy Hedrick, 87 of East End, passed away in Little Rock on Friday, May 4, 2012 from dementia. He was born to W.W. and Viola Potts Hedrick in White County, Ark. on Oct. 19, 1924. He is survived by his wife, Bernia Hedrick; one son, WC "Dub" and Debbye Hedrick of East End; two daughters, Vicki Hedrick of Little Rock and Mary and Larry Bisbee of East End; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Alvin Hedrick; and two sisters and a brother. Leroy was ordained as Deacon in 1966, and was a Sunday School teacher and a wonderful Christian man. He loved hunting and fishing, and mostly his family. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Forest Tower Baptist Church in Hensley, with the funeral service immediately following at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery. The family wants to say thank you to Madison Health and Rehab on Dixon Road and Arkansas Hospice for their special love and care.
