James D. (Doug) Kelley, age 88, of Saltillo, died Sunday, May 6, 2012. He was born on June 4, 1923 at Shadwick near Saltillo. He was retired from the food industry, working in maintenance repair for over 20 years in Little Rock. He was a member of Saltillo Heights Baptist Church, 32nd degree Mason and veteran of World War II, where he served in the Army Air Corps from 1943-1945. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew J. and Nettie Thornton Kelley of Saltillo. Doug is survived by his two sons, Stephen D. Kelley and wife Elizabeth of San Antonio, Texas, and James R. (Rick) Kelley and wife Lisa of Vilonia. He has two grandchildren, Stephanie Marchand and husband Christopher of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tiffany R. Kelley of New York, N.Y. He is also survived by two brothers, Carl Lee Kelley and wife Kathleen and Carrol Franklin Kelley and wife Frances, both of Saltillo. Funeral will be held Thursday, May 10, 3 p.m. at Saltillo Heights Baptist Church, followed by a graveside service at the Kelley family cemetery next to the Oak Bowery Baptist Church, Saltillo. Funeral arrangements were made by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, with visitation scheduled for Wednesday, May 9, 6-8 p.m. There is a on-line death book at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
