Mary Elizabeth Jones

Mary Elizabeth Wright Smith Duke Jones, age 87, of Lonoke, formerly of Lake Village, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at the Lonoke Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 26, 1924 to the late Dave Wright and Hazel Conner Wright and was a homemaker and member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church and had been a resident of Greenbriar Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Hazel Wright, her loving daughter, Brenda Sue Bell, two sisters, Alice Wilder and Kathryn Luberski, two brothers, David Wright and John Wright and by a grandson, T. J. Bell. Survivors are her son-in-law, J.D. Bell and wife, Tammy of Bellaire; a sister, Martha Sue Henderson of Lonoke; four grandchildren, Jimmy Bell and wife, Connie, of Lake Village, Kimberly Graham and husband, Darin of Lake Village, Karla Albritton and husband, Mike of Monticello, Bridget Bell Knight and husband Brandon of Lake Village; and five great-grandchildren, Brittany Graham, Brandy Graham, Dana Armstrong, Alica Albritton, Shenna Bell. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Bishop Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanders Brooks officiating. Arrangements are by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village. The family would like to thank the Greenbriar Retirement Home and Lonoke Nursing Home for the care they provided and special thanks to Charlene Cunningham and all the doctors and nurses.
