Betty Kate Haley Kyle

Betty Kate Haley Kyle, of Dover passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the age of 86. The daughter of Houston A. Haley and Lois McQuiston Haley Greer, she was born July 4, 1925 in Dermott, Ark. She was a 30 year member of the Dover United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Betty was a lifelong artist and lover of art. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard Winston Kyle; son, Barney Kyle; brother, William R. Haley. Survivors include her son Barry Kyle & wife Linda of Mandeville, La.; three sisters, Anne Johnston & husband Jim, Sara Lois Head, Nancy LeBlanc & husband Donald; numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Dover United Methodist Church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
