Mary Willform Jones

Mary Willform Jones, 82, of Wynne, Arkansas, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, May 14, 2012 She was born on November 29, 1929 to Fannie Mae Mitchell and Eugene Willform. She joined St. Mary C.M.E. Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until her death. She was a former educator, retiring from the Parkin School District after 44 years. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Jones; son, Gregory B. Jones; and daughter, Annette L. Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Mary E. Jones of Little Rock, Arkansas, granddaughter, Schandrea Y. Hinton of Little Rock, Arkansas; Jocelyn Thornton of Little Rock, Arkansas; Brittany G. Jones of Little Rock, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Ayanna Hinton, Domonique Williams, Aeriel Scott, Kennedi Phillips, Calleigh Tucker and a host of friends and extended family. Visitation will be Friday, May 18, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home, 220 Murray Street Avenue in Wynne, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May l9, at l0 a.m. at St. Mary C.M.E. Church, 810 W. Poplar Avenue, Wynne, Ark. with Rev. Donnie Willis officiating. Burial will be in Wynne Cemetery. Services entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
