Richard Paul Shairrick

Richard Paul "Rick" Shairrick, 43, of Rogers, Ark. passed away, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. He was born Dec. 16, 1968 in Eldorado, Ark. to Donald Ray Shairrick and Sherma Couch Shairrick. Rick has just completed his requirements for a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas and was planning to intern as a physical therapist. He enjoyed old cars and was very talented in music and art. He was an active, faithful member of First Assembly of God in Rogers. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He was looking forward to his first grandchild. He will be sadly missed. Rick is survived by his wife Lisa Shairrick; two sons, William Michael Elliott, of the home, Jordan David Haney and wife Sophy, of Lowell, Ark.; parents, Donald and Sherma Shairrick, of Benton, Ark.; maternal grandmother, Deloris Bundy, of Tyler, Texas; paternal grandmother, Ruby Shairrick, of Crossett, Ark.; Father and mother in-law, Bobby and Monica Turner, Sr. of Crossett, Ark., brother, Billy Shairrick, of Benton, Ark.; sister, Melissa Clifton, and husband, John, of Conway; and a large extended family. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at First Assembly of God in Rogers on 1710 West Sycamore at the corner of Oak and Dixieland. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at First Assembly of God in Rogers with Pastor Danny Cheney officiating with burial to follow.
