Billy Earl Romine, Jr.

Billy Earl Romine Jr.,65, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Billy loved to work in his yard, deer hunt and work on cars. Billy served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Mildred Romine and his son, Joseph Sellers Romine. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Connie; his son, Alfred Ray Romine; his daughter, Jennifer Rebekah Thornton and four grandchildren; Bekah Kathleen Thornton, Rachel Nicole Romine, Joseph Sellers Romine Jr. and Samuel Sorrells. He also leaves a sister, Sandra of Little Rock and four brothers; Donnie Romine (Judy) of Jefferson, Larry Romine (Evelyn) of Rison, Alfred Romine of Little Rock, Mike Romine (Joni) of Mabelvale and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 N, and Alexander, Ar. 72002 (501) 455-1067. Funeral services will be Friday at 12 noon in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills with interment following at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
